As this day comes to its close, there may still be thoughts that refuse to settle. Unfinished work, unanswered questions or quiet concerns can easily follow us into the night. Yet God never intended us to carry tomorrow before it arrives. His invitation this evening is to place every burden into His loving hands and receive the gift of peaceful rest. While we sleep, He remains faithful. While we rest, He continues His work. We can close our eyes with confidence because our Heavenly Father never closes His. Psalm 127:2 (NIV) “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves.” Heavenly Father, thank You for carrying us through another day with Your unfailing faithfulness. As we prepare to rest tonight, help us to release every worry, every disappointment and every anxious thought into Your care. Lord Jesus, quiet our hearts with Your perfect peace and remind us that Your love is greater than every fear we leave behind. Holy Spirit, fill our homes with Your comforting presence, renew our minds and restore our strength as we sleep. Today we declare that fear will not win, because our lives are safely held by the God who never slumbers and never sleeps. We trust You with tomorrow, knowing that Your plans are good, Your mercy is new and Your love remains constant through every season. We pray for every listener joining us from the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and across the nations. May every home be filled with Your peace, every family rest securely in Your love and every weary heart awaken tomorrow refreshed by Your grace.
