Thank you for spending these closing moments of the day with me. Before the night begins, let’s pause together, open God’s Word and quietly place our attention upon the One who never changes. Throughout today, many things may have competed for our focus. Some moments brought joy, others brought pressure, and perhaps there were times when our thoughts became distracted by uncertainty. Yet tonight we are gently invited to lift our eyes above everything that changes and fix our hearts upon the Lord, whose presence remains constant through every season of life.  Psalm 16:8 (NIV) “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” What a wonderful promise to carry into this evening. The closer our hearts remain to Christ, the steadier our lives become. His presence gives us confidence for tomorrow, His love settles anxious thoughts and His faithfulness becomes the firm ground beneath our feet. We may not know everything that tomorrow will bring, but we know the One who will walk with us into it. So tonight, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ remains at our side, giving us quiet confidence that cannot be shaken. Father, thank You for Your constant presence throughout this day. Thank You that You have remained faithful in every moment, whether we recognised it or not. Lord Jesus, bless every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel lonely, peaceful assurance to those carrying tomorrow’s concerns and deep, refreshing rest to every weary heart. Help us end this day with our confidence resting securely in You. Holy Spirit, keep our hearts centred upon Christ, strengthen our trust through the night and prepare us to rise tomorrow with renewed hope and joyful expectation. Across the world, from Hobart to Hamilton, from Singapore to Houston and Buenos Aires, may every listener close this day with unwavering confidence, knowing that the Lord remains faithfully by their side.
