The conversations have quietened, the work has been laid aside and the evening invites us to slow our pace. Before we rest, there is one truth that is worth carrying into the night. We are not facing tomorrow alone because the Lord has not left our side today. His presence has remained steady through every hour, and His faithfulness will continue while we sleep. Let’s end this day together by resting in the confidence of His nearness. Scripture (NIV) “I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” — Psalm 16:8 Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful presence throughout this day. Thank You that You have walked beside us in every conversation, every decision and every quiet moment. As we prepare to sleep, help us to leave tomorrow safely in Your hands. Calm every anxious thought, quiet every restless heart and surround our homes with Your peace. Help us to rest in the assurance that You remain near, watching over us with unfailing love. May we wake refreshed, strengthened and ready to walk once again in the confidence that comes from keeping our eyes upon You. Fear will not win, because the Lord remains near and His faithful presence will never leave His people. May the Lord watch over you tonight, fill your heart with His peace and grant you restful sleep in the confidence of His loving presence.
