Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. The day has now reached its quiet conclusion. Some prayers have been answered, while others are still waiting in hope. Some burdens have become lighter, while others are still resting gently upon our hearts. Yet one truth remains unchanged as we prepare for sleep tonight: the Lord has been with us through every moment of this day, and He will remain with us through every moment of this night. His faithful presence never pauses, and His loving care never grows weary. Psalm 16:8 (NIV) “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” What a beautiful promise to carry into the night. Our confidence is not found in perfect circumstances but in the unchanging presence of God. Even while we sleep, the Lord remains near. He watches over His people with constant love, quiet strength and faithful care. So tonight, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ stands beside us, steadies our hearts and surrounds us with His everlasting peace. Father, thank You for walking with us throughout this day. Thank You for every unseen kindness, every quiet answer to prayer and every reminder that Your love has never left our side. Lord Jesus, watch over every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel lonely, peace to anxious minds and deep, refreshing rest to every weary heart. Help us release today’s concerns into Your hands and welcome tomorrow with renewed hope. Holy Spirit, cover every home with Your peace, calm every troubled thought and gently remind us that we are safely held in the presence of God. Across the world, from Hobart to Hamilton, from Singapore to Birmingham and Buenos Aires, may every listener lie down tonight with quiet assurance, knowing that the Lord remains faithfully by their side.
