PSALM 2 LOOKS FORWARD 2000 YEARS TO THECOMING OF CHRIST

Why do the heathen rage? We answered this question in our previous podcast on Psalm 2:1-5. This episode completes our study of Psalm 2 by showing how the psalm applies the psalm predicts the events recorded two thousand years later in Acts 4 concerning Christ’s death, persecution and resurrection, while also highlighting prophetic elements of the psalm that remain unfulfilled. Using passages from Acts, Matthew 24–25, 2 Peter 3, and 1 Corinthians 15, we demonstrate the certainty of Christ’s return, the reality of a future earthly reign, the final separation of the righteous and unrighteous, and a clear application ... live holy, bear the fruit of the Spirit, and remain ready for Christ’s coming.
