As the day begins to slow, many of us are carrying more than we realised this morning. The pace of the day, the weight of responsibility and the needs of others can quietly leave us feeling tired. Yet our Shepherd has never stopped watching over us. Before we think about tomorrow, God gently invites us to pause, breathe and allow Him to restore what this day has taken from us. His care is personal, His presence is constant and His peace is never in short supply. Psalm 23:1–3 (NIV) “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” Heavenly Father, thank You for leading us faithfully throughout this day. As evening draws near, refresh every weary heart and replace our tiredness with Your strength. Lord Jesus, Shepherd of our souls, lead us beside Your quiet waters. Help us to release today’s burdens and to trust that You are still working, even when we can no longer see the way ahead. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh peace into our minds, restore our hope and remind us that we are safely held in Your loving care. Today we declare that fear will not win, because our Shepherd walks beside us and restores our souls with unfailing love. May we finish this day resting in Your goodness and looking forward with quiet confidence to all that You have prepared.
