As we come to the close of this day, we settle our hearts and rest in the care of the Good Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 (NIV) says: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” Psalm 91 reminds us that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Tonight, we rest not in our own strength, but in the covering and care of God. Lord Jesus, as we prepare for rest, we place everything into Your hands. You are our Shepherd. Lead us into stillness. Cover us with Your peace. Quiet every thought that tries to follow us into the night. Where there is restlessness, bring calm. Where there is heaviness, bring release. Where there is uncertainty, remind us that in You, we lack nothing. Jesus, You are our Shepherd, and we trust You completely. Jesús, Tú eres nuestro Pastor, danos descanso y paz en esta noche.
