He guides me along the right paths…” The day is beginning to close, and perhaps you can feel exactly what it has taken from you. Some days leave us physically tired. Others leave something deeper behind — disappointment, frustration, or simply the feeling that we have been running on empty. So now we come back to Jesus. Lord, thank You that You see the tiredness we don’t always explain to other people. You know the moments that drained us and the disappointments we have carried quietly. Your Word tells us that You restore the soul. Restoration is not always dramatic. Sometimes it begins simply by sitting with You and remembering that we are still held. We pray for Uganda, Canada, Brazil, Hungary, Romania and Russia. Bring renewal to those finishing difficult days. Give hope to those whose plans have not worked out, and strength to those who are wondering whether they can begin again. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh life into weary hearts. Help us stop measuring ourselves by everything we did or did not accomplish today. Jesus, this morning You met us in our fear. You strengthened us when the day felt too much. At midday, we placed our burdens into Your hands. Now restore our souls. Where disappointment has taken hope, gently plant hope again. Where failure has spoken loudly, remind us of Your grace. Tonight does not have to be a verdict on our lives. Jesus is still with us. And because He is, tomorrow can still hold hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
