Psalm 32:8 (NIV) — When You Don’t Know What to Do, God Will Guide You -
from Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper · host Reverend Ben Cooper
Send us your feedback — we’re listeningPsalm 32:8 (NIV) — When You Don’t Know What to Do, God Will Guide You Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Perhaps the day has already presented you with something you didn’t expect. A decision needs to be made, someone needs an answer, or you’re simply not sure what the right thing to do is. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t having too many choices; it’s wondering whether we’re choosing wisely. So before you rush ahead, take a moment and bring the uncertainty to Jesus. Father, thank You that You don’t leave us to find our way alone. Your Word tells us that You will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go. Give us ears to listen and hearts willing to follow. When we are tempted to make decisions simply because we are anxious, slow us down. When we are afraid of making the wrong choice, remind us that we can seek Your wisdom without fear. Lord Jesus, we pray today for people and communities across Kenya, Austria, Canada, Australia, Belgium and Spain. Give wisdom to families making difficult decisions, to leaders carrying responsibility, and to anyone standing at a crossroads. Bring clarity where there is confusion, patience where there is pressure, and peace where people are struggling to know what comes next. Holy Spirit, help us understand that guidance doesn’t always arrive as a complete map. Sometimes You simply show us the next faithful step. So today, help us listen before we react, pray before we decide, and trust You before we try to control the outcome. Fear will not win, because we don’t have to navigate today alone. Father, guide our steps, guard our decisions and keep our hearts close to Jesus. Amen.
