You may be making your way home, finishing the last few jobs or simply sitting quietly for the first time today. Some days leave us physically tired. Other days leave us carrying something much deeper that no one else can see. Whatever today has held for you, know this before anything else: God has not stepped away. He has drawn near. Let’s pause together and rest in that truth. Scripture (NIV) “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 Heavenly Father, thank You that You come close to us, not only in our strongest moments but also in our weakest ones. Thank You that nothing we carry is hidden from You. This evening we place into Your loving hands every disappointment, every unanswered question and every quiet burden that still rests upon our hearts. Draw near to us with Your comfort, renew our hope and remind us that Your love remains constant even when our emotions rise and fall. Help us to finish this day resting in Your presence, trusting that You are holding us with unfailing kindness. Fear will not win, because the Lord never turns away from those who call upon Him. May the Lord surround you with His comfort this evening, strengthen your heart and gently remind you that you are never beyond His loving care.
