As a new day begins, there is something deeply reassuring about placing it into God’s hands before the demands of life begin to gather around us. None of us knows exactly what today will bring. There will be conversations we cannot predict, decisions we did not expect and opportunities we cannot yet see. Yet before we carry any of these things ourselves, our loving Father simply invites us to trust Him. The journey ahead does not depend upon our strength alone but upon the faithful God who walks before us, beside us and behind us. Psalm 37:5 (NIV) “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.” Heavenly Father, as this new day opens before us, we willingly place every plan, every responsibility and every unseen moment into Your loving hands. Lord Jesus, guide our thoughts, our conversations and our decisions so that everything we do reflects Your grace and Your truth. Holy Spirit, fill us with wisdom where choices must be made, with patience where challenges arise and with quiet confidence that You are already working ahead of us. Help us not to rush beyond Your timing or become discouraged by unexpected delays, but to remember that every step is safest when it is walked with You. Today we declare that fear will not win, because our future is not held together by our own efforts but by the faithful promises of God. Whatever this day brings, we choose to trust You completely, believing that Your goodness, mercy and unfailing love will accompany us from sunrise until nightfall.
