Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. Some of the heaviest burdens we carry are the ones we cannot solve. We replay conversations, worry about tomorrow or try to hold together situations that are beyond our control. Yet God never intended us to live beneath the weight of constant striving. Today, He lovingly invites us to place our lives into His faithful hands, trusting that His wisdom reaches further than our understanding and His care extends beyond what we can see. Psalm 37:5 (NIV) “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.” What a freeing invitation for today. Trust is not the absence of responsibility; it is the decision to place our responsibilities before the Lord instead of carrying them alone. When we commit our way to Him, we are choosing confidence over fear and faith over anxious striving. So today, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ faithfully receives every burden we bring to Him and never turns away those who trust in His loving care. Father, thank You that Your hands are strong enough to hold every concern we carry. Thank You that Your wisdom is perfect, Your compassion is abundant and Your faithfulness reaches into every part of our lives. Lord Jesus, encourage every listener today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, peace to those carrying heavy responsibilities, wisdom to those facing important choices and renewed hope to every heart that feels weighed down. Teach us to entrust our plans, our relationships and our future into Your loving care. Holy Spirit, replace anxious striving with quiet confidence, deepen our trust in God and help us recognise His faithful guidance throughout this day.
