John 14:27 (NIV): Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Jesus, as midnight settles across the earth and the day finally exhales, I place my heart beneath Your peace. These early moments of the new day are often where fear tries to rise, where the mind replays conversations, anxieties, and unfinished thoughts. Yet Your word tells me that peace is not something I must manufacture, but something You give. Paz noturna. Descanso seguro. Tonight I choose to step into that gift. I choose to let my breathing slow, my shoulders release, and my spirit come under the shelter of Your presence. The world may be restless, but I do not have to be. You make me dwell in safety. You hold the night. You hold me. When worry tries to circle, steady me. When thoughts begin to race, quiet them. When fear whispers lies, silence it with Your truth. Let Your shadow of protection reach into the deepest parts of my being, reminding me that I do not enter this new day alone. Your peace is not fragile. Your peace is not temporary. Your peace is not dependent on circumstances. It is firme, constante, and faithful. You have carried me through every night before this one, and You will carry me again. Jesus, I pray for everyone listening from Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Cabo Verde, Argentina, and beyond. Let this midnight moment become a turning point, a holy pause where Your presence enters the room and changes the atmosphere. Let there be descanso. Let there be segurança. Let there be quiet courage rising softly, like a tide strengthening the shoreline of the heart. I surrender the night to You. I surrender the fears to You. I surrender the unknowns to You. Peace of Jesus, fill every corner of my mind. As I lie down, let Your presence settle over me like a warm blanket, silencing fear and awakening hope. In these early steps of the new day, You are my confidence and my calm.
