from Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper · host Reverend Ben Cooper
Send us your feedback — we’re listening Psalm 46:10 — “Be Still, and Know That I Am God: A Morning Prayer When the World Feels Uncertain” Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Stillness • Protection • Courage Scripture — Psalm 46:10 (NIV) “Be still, and know that I am God.” Prayer There are mornings when the world feels unsettled before the day has even begun. You may have opened your eyes carrying concern about your family, your future, your community, or things happening far beyond your own doorstep. Before you try to solve any of it, take a breath and be still with Jesus. Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge, but it also calls us to know that He is God. Jesus, You are not shaken by the noise that shakes us. You are Lord over every storm, every uncertainty and every fear. Today we choose to look beyond the headlines and place our confidence in You. We pray for people in Germany, Kenya, Austria, Belgium, Spain, and France. Meet people in homes, workplaces, hospitals and quiet rooms where fear may be growing. Let Your presence bring courage where anxiety has been speaking loudly. Holy Spirit, settle hearts and help us remember that God’s presence is greater than the circumstances surrounding us. Jesus, teach us to live from Your peace rather than from the pressure around us. Where we feel powerless, remind us that prayer is never powerless. Where we feel afraid, help us take the next faithful step. In every nation and every situation, let people discover that You are near. So this morning, we become still before You. We do not have to understand everything to trust You. We do not have to control everything to follow You. Jesus, hold our hearts steady and help us walk into this day with courage. Amen. Blessing: May the Lord be your refuge today, steady your heart and give you courage for every step.
