There may still be unfinished tasks, unanswered questions or thoughts that continue to occupy your mind. Before you carry today’s concerns any further, let’s pause together for a moment. Our God is not anxious, hurried or overwhelmed. He remains faithful, constant and completely trustworthy. As the noise around us begins to quieten, the Lord gently invites us to become still and remember that He is God. Scripture (NIV) “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” — Psalm 46:10 Heavenly Father, thank You that Your peace is deeper than our circumstances and Your presence is greater than our worries. As this day draws towards its close, help us to lay aside every burden that we were never meant to carry alone. Quiet our restless thoughts and teach us to rest confidently in Your sovereign care. Thank You that You remain faithful when life feels uncertain and that Your purposes continue even when we cannot yet see the whole picture. May Your Holy Spirit fill our hearts with lasting peace, renew our trust in You and help us enter this evening with confidence, knowing that You are still upon Your throne and Your love never fails. Fear will not win, because the Lord reigns with perfect peace and unchanging faithfulness. May the Lord quiet your heart this evening, surround you with His perfect peace and remind you that He remains sovereign over every part of your life.
