Three Prayer Themes: Burden • Surrender • Sustaining Grace SCRIPTURE — Psalm 55:22 (NIV) “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you…” By midday, the things we were determined to handle this morning can begin to feel heavier than we expected. Perhaps you’ve been carrying a concern quietly, smiling on the outside while something inside you feels overwhelmed. This is a moment to stop carrying it alone. Jesus, we bring You our cares now. We bring the conversation we keep replaying, the bill we don’t know how to manage, the person we cannot fix, and the future we cannot control. Your Word tells us to cast our cares upon You because You sustain us. That means we don’t have to pretend that our burdens are small. We simply have to stop believing that we must carry them alone. We pray for Australia, China, Hong Kong, Ghana, Nigeria and Rwanda. Wherever this prayer is being heard, meet Your people with sustaining grace. Holy Spirit, help us release what has become too heavy. Quiet the thoughts that keep circling, and bring our hearts back to Jesus. This morning we remembered that He is with us. Then we received strength from Him. Now we place our burdens into His hands. Jesus, carry what we cannot carry. We surrender the need to control every outcome. We release the pressure to have every answer. And in the quiet of this midday moment, let us receive Your sustaining presence. We don’t have to carry tomorrow today. Jesus is here. And for this moment, that is enough. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Blessing: May the Lord sustain you, carry what is too heavy for you and give you His peace in the middle of this day.
