Adelaide • Queenstown • Singapore • Austin • Montevideo REST • CONFIDENCE • QUIET STRENGTH Good evening, and welcome to DailyPrayer.uk. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. As the day begins to draw towards its close, many of us realise just how much we have been carrying. Some burdens have names; others are known only to God. The conversations, responsibilities and quiet worries of today may still be resting heavily upon your heart. Before this evening moves any further, let’s gently place every concern into the loving hands of our Heavenly Father and allow our souls to become still in His presence.  Psalm 62:5–6 (NIV) “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” These words invite us to stop striving and start trusting. Hope is not something we have to manufacture through determination or positive thinking. Hope grows as we quietly rest in the God who never changes. Tonight, let’s remind ourselves once again that fear will not win, because our foundation is Jesus Christ, our Rock, our Saviour and our unchanging hope through every season of life. Father, thank You for staying with us throughout this day. Thank You for every unseen mercy, every quiet answer to prayer and every moment Your faithful hand has held us securely. Lord Jesus, receive every burden we have carried today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, peace to those whose minds are tired, comfort to those feeling lonely and renewed hope to everyone facing tomorrow with unanswered questions. Teach us to leave our worries with You and to rest in the certainty of Your unfailing love. Holy Spirit, breathe Your peace across every heart, calm every anxious thought and help us finish this day with quiet confidence, knowing that Christ is holding us safely. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Austin and Montevideo, may every listener discover that true rest is found in God alone and that His faithful presence never leaves His children. Jesús, en Ti mi alma encuentra descanso y esperanza. Jesus, em Ti a minha alma encontra descanso e esperança. Jesus, sa Iyo natatagpuan ng aking kaluluwa ang kapahingahan at pag-asa. Amen.
