I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” Proverbs 18:10 (NIV): “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Jesus, as this night begins, I come deliberately into Your presence. I do not enter this night uncovered—I step into Your shelter, into Your shadow, into Your protection. You are my refuge. You are my fortress. In You, I am safe. There is no fear that has authority here. There is no darkness that can override Your covering. I do not lie down in uncertainty—I rest in security. So I come under Your wings. Jesus, establish Your covering over my life tonight. Guard my thoughts. Protect my rest. Let no anxiety take hold, and let no disturbance remain. The name of the Lord is my strong tower—and I run into it now. I do not stay outside of Your protection. I step fully into it. I dwell in Your presence. I remain in Your shelter.
