Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. The day is gently drawing to a close. The conversations are becoming quieter, the pace is slowing and the night is beginning to settle around us. Whatever today has brought, there is deep comfort in knowing that while we prepare to rest, our Heavenly Father never grows weary, never looks away and never stops watching over His children. Tonight, you can rest in His faithful care. Psalm 91:1–2 (NIV) “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” These words remind us that our security is found not in our circumstances but in the presence of God. His shelter is stronger than our fears, His faithfulness is greater than our uncertainties and His love remains constant through every hour of the night. So let’s quietly remind ourselves that fear will not win, because we are resting under the shadow of the Almighty, whose care never fails and whose promises never change. Father, thank You for Your protection throughout this day. Thank You for every unseen mercy, every answered prayer and every reminder that Your faithful hand has been upon our lives. Lord Jesus, watch over every listener tonight. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel alone, peace to anxious minds and restful sleep to every weary heart. As we close our eyes, help us to trust completely in Your loving care and wake tomorrow with renewed hope. Holy Spirit, surround every home with Your peace, strengthen our faith and remind us that nothing is beyond Your loving care. Across the world, from Hobart to Hamilton, from Singapore to Birmingham and Buenos Aires, may every listener rest tonight beneath the shelter of the Almighty, knowing that Christ remains their refuge, their hope and their everlasting peace.
