The pace has slowed, and I no longer carry what the day required of me. I step into stillness. You are watching over me. Not only in what I notice, but in every unseen moment of this night. Your care surrounds me, steady and constant, holding me safely within Your reach. You guard me. You command Your angels concerning me, and I am not left unprotected. I am not vulnerable or alone—I am covered, attended, and kept by Your faithful care. So I rest. My thoughts soften. My breathing settles. My mind releases its hold on the day, and I allow peace to take its place. You remain near. Even as I sleep, You are present. Even in rest, You sustain me. You hold every moment of this night with watchful care. And I hold this truth—You love me. Because You love me, I am safe. Because You love me, I am not alone. Because You love me, I can rest without fear. Jesus, surround this night. Let my sleep be deep and undisturbed. Let Your peace remain with me. Let me wake renewed, held within Your care.
