Psalm 91:15 (NIV): “He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble…” Salmo 91:15 — “Ele clamará a Mim, e Eu lhe responderei; Estarei com ele na angústia…” “Your rod and Your staff comfort me.” / “Tua vara e Teu cajado me consolam.” / “Tu vara y Tu cayado me infunden aliento.” Hebrews 13:5 (NIV): “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebreus 13:5 — “Nunca o deixarei; jamais o abandonarei.” Jesus, as this evening settles over my day, I bring You everything that felt heavy, everything unresolved, everything that pressed against my heart. Senhor Jesus, Señor Jesús, hear my cry as it rises from the long hours behind me. Meet me in the places where I struggled to find peace. Bring calm to what still feels unsettled. Bring luz suave to what feels shadowed. Bring descanso, descanso profundo, to every anxious thought that refuses to let go. Where conversations linger in my mind, quiet them. Where pressures weighed on me, lift them. Where disappointment tried to take root, remove it gently. Jesus, be with me — comigo, conmigo — in every moment I felt alone, overwhelmed, or unsure. Let Your consolo, Your consuelo, rest on my spirit like a warm hand over a trembling heart. Remind me that You have not left me. You have not turned away. You have walked with me through every hour, and You walk with me now. Jesus, fill my evening with Your presence so I don’t carry the unfinished pieces of this day as burdens, but place them into Your safe and faithful hands. Comfort me with Your vara e cajado, vara y cayado, guiding me through the shadows into rest. Steady my breathing. Slow my thoughts. Cover my home, my family, my mind, and my emotions with Your peace — paz profunda, paz verdadera. Lord Jesus, stay close to me tonight. Speak softly to my weary places and let Your presence be the peace my heart could not find anywhere else today.
