Psalm 91

Psalm 91 This psalm is chocked full of promises from the Almighty. It has risen in notoriety over the past twenty years as the psalm most quoted and prayed by those victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. Now it is affectionately known as psalm 911. I think this is so appropriate because it is the psalm best suited for freedom from trouble and destruction. So effective are its words, that even our Lord Jesus quoted it during the temptation in the wilderness. According to Bible scholars, psalm 90 and 91 were written by Moses at the beginning of the forty years in the wilderness.
