As the evening deepens and the day draws toward its close, we pause together before God, allowing His Word to quiet our thoughts and steady our hearts. Psalm 91:5–6 (NIV) “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness.” Psalm 23:2–3 (NIV) “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” John 14:27 (NIV) “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” Lord Jesus, as the world settles into night, we bring to You every thought that still feels restless. The day may have carried worries, responsibilities, and unanswered questions, yet Your Word reminds us that fear does not have the final voice over our lives. You are the Shepherd who leads us beside still waters. You are the One who restores the soul. Tonight we allow Your presence to calm every anxious thought and quiet every unsettled emotion. Jesús, trae descanso a nuestros corazones y guarda nuestra mente en tu paz. Jesus Cristo, traz descanso ao nosso coração e cobre nossa vida com tua presença. Across nations and languages we turn our hearts toward the same refuge. Psalm 91 reminds us that when we dwell in the shelter of the Most High, fear loses its power. Even when darkness surrounds us, Your protection remains constant. Wherever this prayer is heard tonight, may the peace of Christ settle gently over that place. Let homes be filled with calm. Let weary minds find rest. Let hearts remember that the Lord who watches over us never sleeps. Jesus, You are our refuge tonight. Your peace is greater than our worry. Your presence is stronger than our fear. Your love carries us safely into tomorrow. Amen.
