Nashville • Auckland • Lagos • Singapore • Buenos Aires REST • STILLNESS • PEACE night prayer for anxious thoughts • Christian bedtime prayer for peace • prayer to quiet a busy mind • resting safely in God’s presence Psalm 46:10 (NIV) “Be still, and know that I am God.” As this day comes gently to its close, you may find yourself carrying thoughts that have followed you from morning until now. Some concerns may have been resolved, while others remain unanswered. There may be conversations you continue to replay, decisions you are still considering, or situations that feel unfinished and uncertain. Night has a way of making worries seem louder than they really are. When the distractions of the day fall silent, our minds can sometimes become busy. We revisit what has happened, wonder about what might happen next, and quietly carry concerns into hours that were meant for rest. Yet tonight, God offers a different invitation. He does not ask you to solve tomorrow before you sleep. He does not ask you to carry every burden through the night. He simply invites you to be still and remember that He is God. Father, thank You for bringing me safely through this day. Thank You for every moment of grace, every unseen protection, and every kindness You have provided along the way. As I prepare to rest, help me release what I cannot change and trust You with what I cannot control. Jesus, settle my thoughts and quiet my heart. Where anxiety tries to linger, bring peace. Where fear tries to return, bring reassurance. Help me remember that while I sleep, You remain watchful, faithful, and present. Lord, I place my family, my future, my health, my work, and every concern that weighs upon me into Your hands. Let Your peace rest upon my home and let Your presence be the final thought that settles my heart tonight. Across the world, from Nashville to Auckland, from Lagos to Singapore and Buenos Aires, may weary hearts find rest, anxious minds find peace, and troubled souls discover comfort in the presence of God. Jesús, gracias por Tu paz esta noche. Jesus, obrigado pela Tua paz esta noite. Jesus, salamat sa Iyong kapayapaan ngayong gabi. Father, I rest in Your care, sleep in Your peace, and trust You with tomorrow. Amen.
