In particular, the discussion focused on how the scientist had repudiated his materialist beliefs in favor of a re-enchantment belief system, where mystical experiences become the arbiter of truth. Then we reviewed a seminar in which a professional counselor shared how she counseled a human-AI couple - a man and his AI girlfriend.
