Pt.1 Style as a Path To Discovering Inherent Worth (Morgan Wider)

from How We Heal with Ryan Pink · host Corban David Jenai

In today’s episode, Corban speaks with his friend Morgan Wider. Morgan shares candidly about how she found her path to healing in the way that she presented herself to the world, what that communicated to others about her worth, and more importantly…what that communicated to herself.  Her journey is fascinating, inspiring, and charts a path that almost anyone can look to find their own healing and to develop their own sense of self-worth.After studying Economics at Georgetown University, she spent 10 years working at the corporate offices of some of the world’s biggest retail brands: The Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Carters, Inc.  While there, she grew several businesses with her knowledge of merchandising, apparel production, pricing strategy and international development.  She started Wider Style to help other women make the same transformation she did and to help them finally see themselves. She uses her diverse background to work with professional women throughout the world and help them understand that being seen as a well put together and attractive woman doesn’t detract from their intelligence or professional accomplishments, but in fact enhances them. She is the author of a book called The Worthy Wardrobe: Your Guide to Style, Shopping & Soul, where she explores these intersections and the complicated relationship women have with clothes. Part memoir, part style guide, her book helps readers build a wardrobe and image that reflects their inherent Worthiness.Visit her website: www.widerstyle.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WiderStyle/ Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/morganwiderstyle/ Learn more about HopeGuide and Ryan Pink Join us on YouTube to watch full episodes Help us amplify the message! Please subscribe on your favorite podcast app! Please Rate and Review the podcast on Apple and Spotify!
