Public Airline traveling has gone to Hell

from To Hear Me Tell It · host Jerry

Send us Fan MailTraveling via public transportation isn't what it used to be, and flying aboard commercial aircraft has become (to me) a huge pain in the ass.  I dread it, and would damn near rather walk than fly commercially.  The hassles of the traffic to get to the airport, the parking, the crime and risks of your car being broke into are alone not worth the freakin' crap.  Then having to go through all the BS just to get to the boarding gate, which by the way is far more difficult and done with less welcome than what an invading  Chinese or Venezuelan national goes through crossing the US Southern border, where they're welcome with open arms and not vetted. The flights today have smaller seats, bigger people (a.k.a. obese), no food, bad food, and no peanuts.  People today fight of armrests and window shades.  People bring cats, dogs, and fish as their comfort pet.  They bring "carry on" bags, sometimes in multiples of four, go unchallenged and will scream racism when confronted.  Folks travel in their damn pajamas and with sever mattress head hair, and don't seem to possess an ounce of personal dignity. No sir, I'll avoid public travel as all costs, why?  Because our society has gone to hell in a handbasket. God bless those who still work in the industry,....y'all deserve a medal and a mental evaluation.
