Public Learns Weeks Later of New Filings in Case

from Kathy's InDieZoNe · host Kathy DiTondo

Here we provide pure opinions, comments, and speculation concerning the catastrophic events at 1122 King Road which led to the initiation of one of the most high-profile cases in recent years of Idaho v. Kiohberger a case which was highly sealed with gag orders and multiple behind-closed-doors hearings in the more than 2.5 years it was actively prosecuted until July 2025. At that time, it was announced Mr. Kohberger had accepted a plea deal agreeing to waive his appellate rights which cancelled the then-pending August 2025 jury trial and led to Mr. Kohberger's sentencing shortly thereafter on July 23, 2025 and the closure of the case. On February 25, 2026, the Case Summary Page maintained by the Clerk of Court was updated for the first time in approximately 1.5 months to reveal three documents were filed in the case back on February 9, 2026 - two of which are under seal. The third - a public record - has not yet been released onto the public record as of the early morning of February 26, 2026. Everything here represents the pure opinion, commentary, speculation and rhetorical questions per the First Amendment to the United States Constitution which states:Amendment ICongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. It is codified within Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act, which provides that fair use of a work “for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use, scholarship, or research)” is not an infringement of copyright. All parties who are charged with crimes are considered innocent under the eyes of the law until or unless they (1) are adjudicated guilty in a court of law or (2) agree to plead guilty. #Idaho4 #BryanKohberger (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/idaho4) (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/idaho...
