We. Are. At. War. I don't think there are four more alarming words. Except maybe... Four. More. Years. Of. Okay, I didn't fully think that out, but if I didn't think you could finish the sentence, I would've definitely backspaced and thought of another thing. Which means, four words that you might find more alarming than you realize: I. Believe. In. YOU. So? Yeah? Right number of words AND an affirmative message. What's scary about me believing in you? Well.... I. Have. No. Idea. How should I know, it's YOUR pathology or neurosis or whatever, I don't even KNOW who you are. Still, I believe in you. When Qasem and I started Qasem and Qassim, no one believed in us. Not even our own mothers. In fact, you might say, ESPECIALLY our own mothers. Still, we dedicate our first song of protest and resistance to mothers. Not OUR mothers, obvi, but just mothers and to all the motherless children who don't know how good they have it. Too. Woke. To.
