Quarterlife Crisis, American S/W Engineer, and... Korea ? | 한국에서 디지털 노마드를 실행한 미국 SW 엔지니어의 이야기

** English **Welcome to Un's podcast — Interview Series! In this episode, I'm joined by "Ike", an American software engineer based in Georgia who once packed up his life, quit his job, and flew to Korea on a whim — all because of a quarterlife crisis. Ike opens up about his two very different stays in Korea: first as an English teacher at a hagwon in Changwon, and later as a digital nomad coding from Gangnam cafés while working remotely for a US company. We dive into his honest observations about Korean culture — from the surprising modernity of Korean cities, to the drinking culture, the appearance obsession, so on. We also get into big topics like diversity, identity, and what Korea's future might look like. And yes — he also trained at Korean Zombie's MMA gym, is learning Korean, and has some very strong opinions about AI and tractors. Join us for one of the most candid and wide-ranging conversations yet.** 한국어 **안녕하세요, Un's Podcast 입니다!이번 에피소드에서는 미국 조지아주에 사는 소프트웨어 엔지니어, Ike와 함께합니다.
