When your to-do list is a mile long, it's so easy to fall into the trap of working until the point of exhaustion. I get it; I hate leaving unfinished tasks on my to-do list. So what do I do? I work until the wee hours of the morning until everything is crossed off. I used to think that was cool until I realized that my life was bigger than my work. That there were other things, I wanted to do besides working around the clock. So in the name of work-life balance, I decided to give myself a hard stop. That's right, when the clock hits 5 pm every day; I am DONE. No more-- "well, let me just go for one more hour"-- once it's time to get off of work, I'm OFF. And making that shift in my business has been the biggest blessing EVER!
