Zach confirmed, “There was a lot of people that came up to me afterwards and were like, ‘Man, you got to get them back.’”Notorious for their wild stage antics—including crowd surfing on a blow-up mattress—Quiescent Mantis teased more madness for round two. “We’re going to look for some cheap blow-up couches this year. It’s going to be wild, that’s for sure,” Jordan laughed.Beyond the antics, they’re sharpening their sound with new tech upgrades like in-ear monitors and are deep into writing their second album following their debut Exitus Stratagem Records.The band is also gearing up for a huge show in Syracuse, NY, sharing the stage with Crowbar and Eyehategod, calling it a dream gig. “It’s just like a dream come true, really,” Jordan shared.Their sci-fi-inspired bug-themed image isn’t just for show.
