Quiet the Mind and Your Soul Will Speak Interview with Shari Gordon

from MindBodySpace · host Dr. Juna Bobby

Shari Gordon is the proud owner of Addison Street Spa. Shari is one of the most special people I've ever met. She is a mom to three boys and is determined to bring alternative healing for those who need something in addition to traditional medicine for health and wellness.  Toward this goal, she launched a new, one of a kind meditation studio called Sacred just a few doors down from her spa, where she offers different types of meditation, restorative, and healing yoga, pilates, tai chi, and qigong, self-care workshops and retreats, children’s movement and yoga, Reiki trainings, Chakra workshops, sound healing and more where she welcomes all people, with respect and without judgement.  Shari grew up in an unstructured childhood. Abandoned as a teenager, she became the sole provider for herself and her younger siblings. This interview is about how she draws resilience from meditation and spiritual connections to herself and others. She says that although it seems very simple, meditation and looking inwards is what it all comes down to for her.  "Even in great suffering and insecurity, turning inwards to our souls is where we find reprieve from all conditions and find understanding and connection." True to Shari's big heart of kindness and compassion, she is offering virtual therapies and free healing meditations during this challenging time on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/addisonstreetspa/   Please support Shari and her amazing spa and meditation space during this temporary time where she is closed due to Covid19. She carries amazing quality products in her store.  Email her through her website for a special package made for you or for your mom on Mother's Day. https://www.sacredlarchmont.com/ https://www.addisonstreetspa.com/
