Both men and women have been deeply traumatized by culture and history. Regardless of where you grew up or how your family tried to save you from these challenges, we are connected to the wider world and have not escaped the imprints of trauma on our life experiences. Today I want to do a small 6 question quiz for the women out there to start checking in with themselves about how and where in their internal emotional landscape they have been traumatized. This trauma comes up for everyone when it comes to couples therapy.
