Rabblecast 614 - SAG Goes on Strike, How Long Does This Play Out?

On previous episodes, we have talked about the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) Strike. Many outlets covering the strike made an arguement that, if the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) went on strike it would all be settled rather quickly. But news has come out that some executives in the Studio system have been talking about breaking the WGA. Bankruptcy, losing their homes, and generally making the remaining months of 2023 miserable until the Studio gets what they want. That all remains to be seen as the SAG joins the WGA on the picket line and Hollywood essentially shuts down. How long will this go? Can this be resolved? What are your thoughts? We also talk about some upcoming films, Oppenheimer (directed by Christopher Nolan) and Barbie (directed by Greta Gerwig ).
