from How I Got Here with Dave Fiore · host Dave Fiore
In this episode, host Dave Fiore speaks with Rachel Pienta, the 4-H Youth Development Program Director at the University of Florida's Extension Office in Wakulla County. A native of upstate New York, Rachel finished high school in rural central Florida, where she says she felt a little like Kevin Bacon in Footloose. She earned a Ph.D. from Florida State University, has led organizations, run local political machines and is a long-time educator. Rachel, along with her husband, David, whom she met at a speed-dating event, gives back in many ways, including hosting exchange students from around the world. _________________________________ Thanks for listening to Tallahassee's Podcast.
