(00:55) Radio Polska #1: Welke kant gaat Polen op?  Deze week zijn in Polen de campagnes begonnen voor de parlementsverkiezingen van volgende maand. Ook voor ons staat er veel op het spel. Economisch en militair speelt Polen binnen Europa een leidende rol, en sinds de oorlog in Oekraïne speelt Polen ook geopolitiek een sleutelrol. De komende weken presenteert Bureau Buitenland daarom Radio Polska. Journalist Dore van Duivenbode en kunstenaar Marek van de Watering gidsen ons daarbij door de verkiezingscampagne en langs de peilingen naar het moment van de waarheid op 15 oktober. Vandaag de introductie: waarom zijn deze verkiezingen zo belangrijk? (21:55) Uitgelicht: Een straatnaam voor Chileense Pinochet-slachtoffers  De Chileense hoofdstad Santiago gaat een aantal straten en pleinen omdopen; ze krijgen de namen van slachtoffers van de dictatuur van Augusto Pinochet. Het besluit werd genomen in aanloop naar de herdenking van de staatsgreep van Pinochet, deze week 50 jaar geleden.
