RAMPS: a simple way to explain and promote Occupational Therapy Intervention

from OT conversations

Here I talk about 5 categories of Occupational Therapy intervention. If you are a clinician who will take on new students, this is invaluable because the interventions are packaged to be easily understood. If you are a student, this is a great start to have an overview of the OT interventions because it categorizes everything that we do. This concept came from the model of Ecology of Human performance and, it is, by far, the only model that I came across that defines and categorizes OT interventions. I have been influenced much by this and it is what got me to come up with the mantra, "everything we do matters and has an outcome".
