“Raw Materials”

My emotions are RAW in every sense. It’s not by nature it’s by design of the absent parent. Raw materials are materials or substances used in the primary production or manufacturing of goods. In this case I’m the goods. Just like you’re the goods. You get me? Ok…cool. Let’s read on. Raw materials are commodities that are bought and sold but in this case they are Inherited and learned. The difference between the two is one you were born into the other you learned by way of experience or exposure. Some of my raw materials or exposure to raw materials are - violence, anger, yelling, negativity, crying, name calling, self isolation, insecurities, drug use and alcohol. For others : food insecurities, depression, anxiety, homelessness along with many other disorders may be the case. It’s important to identify and understand how I feel so that I can manage my emotions. I would just say what was ever on my mind. Not really giving a second thought to how impactful words could be. It took me a very, very long time to understand that. I feel raw often in my delivery, raw in my contributions, raw in my feelings. I am made with many raw materials much like you.
