RE: The Public Records Lawsuit, the Kohberger Files

n February 2026, a lawsuit was filed by EWU Media LLC who alleged the City of Moscow/Moscow Police Dept. wrongfully withheld information from the Kohberger investigation records after they filed public records requests into the crimes at 1122 King Road. Here we provide an update regarding the Respondents response to the Petition alleging violations of the Idaho Public Records Act on or before July 10, 2026. One of the items sought is the December 30, 2022 Interogation/Interview video of Mr. Kohberger by Det. Payne and Det. Gilbertson. We ask the rhetorical question if you believe EWU will be successful in obtaining the same, never seen by the public.
