Reaching Hard To Reach Consumers

from Purse Strings · host WMR.FM

Maria speaks with Duane Benson, Executive Director of the Minnesota Early Learning Foundation about reaching hard to reach consumers as the U.S. population becoming increasingly more diverse, plus how companies are investing in reaching these hard to reach moms.. Duane is a trustee for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. He served in the Minnesota Senate, and was the Senate Minority Leader. Duane has an eclectic background – having played 11 seasons in the NFL as linebacker for The Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Houston Oilers. Duane and his team have the difficult task of trying to communicate critical information to the gatekeeper mother of minority families - many of whom do not speak English or even understand their own written language. These mothers are the ones who decide how their children will be educated and with the U.S. population becoming increasingly more diverse, reaching these populations is critical. Not only to their own educations, but to the employee base for major employers. Find out how companies are investing in reaching these hard-to-reach moms.
