What’s interesting is that when Jesus asked him if he wanted to be made well, the man didn’t say “Yes” immediately. Just like the man in the story, there are still many people today who continue to embrace their sickness or will even make excuses for it. The good news is that no matter how long you’ve been dealing with something or how bad it might seem, Jesus is still able and wanting to heal you of it.
