Reading and meditation on the Word of God on Friday of the third week of Lent, March 13th, 2026

Hosea 14: 2-10; Rs psalm 81: 6c-8a.8bc-9.10-11ab.14.17; Mark 12: 28b-34.LOVE WITH FULLNESS OF HEART Our meditation today is entitled: Love With Fullnessof Heart. God as an almighty power and the only Ruler of the universe cannot bedescribed in His words and actions only few parts, half, or a little. It is thesame as treating Him simply incapable and precisely downgrade God from Hisdivine nature. Instead, God is always and for ever saying His words in the fullnessof sense and doing His will in the entire divine purpose for mankind. God caresa baby with fullness of love, so does a 90 year old grandfather receive thesame care from Him. This means that in God there is no such thing as loving alittle, a part or a half from His fullness of grace. He truly loves with allof His heart. He is fully and totally loves us. God is the owner and provider of love with fullness ofheart. In this fullness, lies His power to forgive which is also full andtotal. The Lord does not forgive part by part every week or every month whenthe penitents come to do confession. He forgives once in full at the moment of someone'sconfession. If that man commits sin again and come to do confession, God alsoforgives another time in full. The prophecy of the prophet Hosea in the firstreading describes on the Lord God who forgives in His almighty power. With thisdivine act, God totally restores His beloved people. As the ones who receivethe grace of forgiveness, we are asked to share this important gift to ourneighbors. We are demanded to do this like our Lord Jesus Christ. When we knowthat we lack the passion to love our fellowmen with all our hearts, let's bealways encouraged to come to the Lord and ask to be strengthened again with theability to love in the fullness of our hearts. God first loves us with all of His heart. Throughvarious experiences of being loved, we learn to love like Himself. Jesus didpublic ministries around Galilee and many of the surrounding areas with love infullness of heart as the center of His teachings. Many people everywhere wereamazed and became interested in Him. Even a scribe felt attracted by this andmade his way in order to find the truth about the compassion of God. Heeventually found the right place and the right person, namely Jesus Christ, theMessiah from the heavenly God. We get from Jesus Christ the law of the fullness oflove. We love the Father in and through Him. If people know, understand, andlove God in heaven without going through Jesus Christ, then their Christianityand justification of their faith is certainly questionable. We also love ourneighbors as the implementation of the Lord’s teachings and examples, which isa way of sacrifice oneself for the goodness and salvation of humanity. Histeachings in the famous scripture passage on the "Sermon on theMount" and "The Beatitudes" show how Jesus has fully prepared usfor the huge mission in the world, and the central point of that mission is tolove others in same way He continues to love us. The law of love with all our hearts is not merelygifted or something placed in every human being, but moreover it is learned,trained, and matured from time to time in the name of Jesus Christ. Let'spray. In the name of the Father ... O God almighty, make us through in yourway, that we may love you and our neighbor with all our hearts. Glory to theFather and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit ...
