Real Men Cry

from Think Unbroken with Michael Unbroken | Childhood Trauma, CPTSD, and Mental Health Recovery · host Michael Anthony

The fabric of modern western society has taken away the space for boys and men to be human beings. We are laughed at and mocked at any sign of emotion and yet we are told to be more compassionate and kind to our partners, friends and selves. The baseline for our experience is not reflective of the expectations of the world. In this episode I dive into my journey to learning how to cry, why I think it's important that men have a place to express emotions and how telling boys it's not OK to cry is destroying them.
