I AM JUST A LUCKY ONE THAT LIVED ON… SHOUTOUT TO A MENTOR OF MINE SANDY FOR THE FOLLOWING THAT REMAINS TO BE SADLY TRUE! THE CULPRIT BEHIND OVER 50% OF MORE OF DEATHS FOR THOSE WHO CHOOSE THE ROUTE OF DEATH BY SUICIDE IS THIS…THERE ARE MANY CONTRIBUTORS BUT THIS TRIFECTA IS ALL TOO COMMON!IT IS THE TRAGIC TRIFECTA OF SUICIDE:THEY GOT DUMPEDTHEY GOT DRUNKTHEY HAD ACCESSSO THIS POEM I WROTE IS IS CALLED "MAKE GOOD CHOICES"https://youtu.be/EoPE1QEVBcoThis subject hurts my soul!and the truth is NO MATTER HOW HARD WE TRY,we cannot save everyone. I accept that!I had Suicidal Ideations and real attempts at not wanting to be here anymore.Do you know when it was every single time? While I was DRINKING AND/OR THE NEXT DAY!“HANG-XIETY”, the “HANGOVER”, AND “HANG-DEPRESSION” HIT HARD and makes you feel so worthless, ashamed, and hurt! I have been there…but I am still here. Please make good choices!…DO NOT DRINK OR GET OBLITERATED OFF OF SUBSTANCES AND PLEASE DO NOT BE NEAR YOUR WEAPONS!FACT: TIME AND SPACE SAVES LIVES!Special shout out to a few communities that have help me find strength and perspective.Through them, I find ways to maintain, be consistent and “keep my tank full”!!!Here they are:The Overwatch Project (overwatchproject.org)ARMED SERVICES ARTS PARTNERSHIP (asapasap.org)And an amazing community that has helped me “KEEP THE ALCOHOL OUT OF MY MOUTH!!!
