RECAP: Game 4 NLDS – Phillies season “feels like a failure”

The Phillies’ season of enormous World Series-or-bust expectations ended on Wednesday night in New York with a 4-1 loss to the Mets in Game 4 of the NL Division Series.“Just feel like you failed,” Trea Turner said. “I think we had a fun season, we made some good memories and whatnot, but when it comes to winning a World Series, it feels like kind of a failure.”It was a crushing loss, but perhaps not a surprising one. The Phillies were baseball’s best team through early June, but played .500 the rest of the way. Something needs to be done to get this team over the hump. But what?
