Reclaiming Peace

Second Sunday of AdventScriptures: Isaiah 40:1-11, Mark 1:1-8Amidst the chaos of the world, we are called to peace and comfort. When we look around creation we often see the worst of what humanity has to offer. However, we are called through Christ as beacons of peace. Not a peace that gives us the power to lord over others, but a peace that creates space for all persons and recognizes their humanity.
