Ephesians 5:15-17 See then that you walk carefully, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Time is a gift we have all been given from God. How we use our time is our gift back to Him. Redeem means you can't continue to live life the way you have been living, because you have lost time to make up for.
