She tells us about her introduction to the sport, and how the purchase of a fat tire bike completely changed her perspective on cycling. Crystal grew up going on long horse packing trips with her parents. She explains how the experiences and memories she shared with her parents motivated her to give her own children the same gift of adventures in the wild. Gravel events have also opened up a new world of adventure for Crystal. She tells us how she chases adventure and fun at every event, without gunning for a spot on the podium. To her, the back of the pack is where the real magic is, ad she encourages all women to get out there redefine what they think is possible for themselves. This year, Crystal launched a bike packing company called Nomadic Adventure Company that takes women on guided bike packing trips.
