Mo from the excellent “Close Up Long Shot” Substack joins us for our innagural episode. We have a wide ranging and fun chat about video games, their nature as both a commercial product and form of artistic creation, and the contradictions therein. We also talk about the phenomenon of a Gamer, and whether or not they actually want art or if they want a fun product. This is the first of a two part discussion, the second of which will be available next week as a premium episode.
